Terms and Conditions

1 Invoices are due for payment 30 days after date of issue.

2 In the case of a Planning or Building Regulations submission, an invoice will be issued for 75% of the agreed design fee and this will be due and paid, prior to submission of the application papers.

3 Where consultancy fees, charged at an hourly rate, are applicable, invoices will be issued on a monthly basis.

4 The intellectual property rights of any design carried out by Rofos, remain solely in the possession of Rofos Design and Technical.

5 Costs not included in any quotation, unless otherwise referred to, are as follows:

- Ordnance Survey location plans

- Excessive plan copies

- Specialist professional services, e.g. structural calculations, legal representations, advanced drainage and highway designs, ground condition and pollution assessments, etc

- Local Authority fees

- Extended liaison with local authority Planning Departments

- Planning supervisory work under the HSE Construction Design Management Regulations

- Liaison with Utilities services providers e.g. gas, electricity, etc.

- Liaison with construction insurers e.g. NHBC
