Site Survey

A visit is made to the site and a survey carried out. All necessary measurements are taken to produce a plan showing boundaries, relevant features, any apparent underground or overhead services and appropriate levelling information. This plan would be used for the planning application, setting out the site and possibly the title deeds.

Example

This is a typical site survey of a single house plot - it shows neighbouring houses, the boundaries, an existing outbuilding in the corner of the plot, the highway, the foul sewer and ground levels which in this case illustrate a significant fall across the site - all drawn at 1:200 scale.
