Re-designs

These opportunties are always interesting and often occur due to owners requiring additional living space, or where properties have been subjected to years of ill conceived alterations.

This photograph shows an extensive re-development of, what was originally, a bungalow.

The property was extended forwards to provide garaging, sideways to provide a kitchen, upwards to provide first floor bedrooms and downwards to provide a large basement space, for the client's business activities.

A particularly interesting aspect of the work, was removing the original roof structure of the bungalow and re-using it on the new house.

These design and building works resulted in a very substantial dwelling indeed.
